No. At this time all services are private pay only. This is to ensure the best care possible as we are not limited by the parameters of insurance, which limit frequency, type, and duration of services.

However, Superbills are available to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Yes! For each visit you are provided with an itemized bill called a Superbill that includes all necessary information (including diagnostic and treatment codes) to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies on your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.

*Please note: It is strongly recommended that you contact your insurance company before starting services to find out if you are eligible for reimbursement and what percentage of reimbursement your plan will provide.

It is recommended that you obtain a referral from your doctor, although one is not required.

Please note: insurance companies do require a referral from your doctor if you plan to submit a claim to your insurance.

Initial consultations function as short (approximately 20-30 minutes) screening sessions that take place via phone call or virtual format such as Zoom. Consultations allow your SLP to obtain an initial impression of your child’s skills and understand your concerns.

If necessary, next steps involve either a comprehensive evaluation or parent coaching session(s) to create a home-program to monitor areas of concern.

Session length and the duration of treatment (how many months) is determined by the needs identified at the evaluation and subsequent treatment plan. This varies widely from child to child.

Treatment sessions are typically 50 minutes and occur 1-2 times per week depending on your child's needs.

Absolutely! Children can participate in services through Happy Little Speech in addition to school services.

Happy Little Speech can also offer treatment to children who would benefit from speech services but may not qualify for school services due to the strict criteria needed to qualify.
